
Stephanie Porowski, Au.D.
Dr. Stephanie Porowski is a licensed Audiologist in the State of New Jersey. Her professional goal is to provide hearing care and tinnitus solutions for all, through technology intervention, counseling and aural rehabilitation. Her personal goal is to bring greater awareness and acceptance to hearing loss in society.
Originally from Ohio, Stephanie attended Ohio University in Athens for undergrad. She obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Hearing Speech and Language Sciences in 2005. She continued her education, completing her clinical fellowship at the Dayton VA Medical Center and Wright Patterson Air Force Base and graduating with her Doctorate in Audiology in 2009 from the University of Cincinnati. Upon graduation Stephanie relocated to Eastern North Carolina to pursue her audiology career. Working as an audiologist at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, North Carolina. At Vidant, Stephanie worked with pediatrics as well as adults specializing in diagnostic audiology, hearing aids, cochlear implants, counseling and aural rehabilitation. Fueled by her passion for art and culture, Stephanie decided to move to Manhattan in 2011. Since then, she has worked in private practice and the hearing aid manufacturing side of the industry. This unique dichotomy has allowed Stephanie to focus on her two career passions- patient-centered counseling with aural rehabilitation and hearing technology.
Stephanie currently resides is the Pocono Mountains with her dog Topher.
